Bar Journal Editorial Board

It shall be the duty of the Bar Journal Editorial Board to work with the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, and other staff on the Rhode Island Bar Journal to write and solicit articles, produce columns and book reviews consistent with the Editorial Statement and Selection Criteria, and act as liaisons with other Bar Committees and organizations. Editorial Board members are required to either write, or arrange for another attorney to write, at least one significant article or commentary piece within two publication years. All committee proposals and recommendations for administrative, policy, or rule changes, or formal positions must be reviewed and approved by the Executive Committee. Any legislative activities must follow the protocol outlined in the Chairpersons' Guide. All RIBA committees are encouraged to report, at least quarterly for publication in the RI Bar Journal, the significant issues and ideas being discussed in its committee.
