Please Consider Accepting a Pro Bono Divorce Case

05/22/2019 -The Volunteer Lawyer Program has many low-income clients who need assistance filing for divorce. Most of these clients have neither children nor assets. Providing clients with the great service of pro bono representation (even just one case!) can make a big difference in the lives of our clients, and is also appreciated by our Judiciary. If you are reluctant to take a case because this is an unfamiliar area of law, we can provide attorney mentors for VLP cases. Please contact VLP Coordinator John Ellis at (401) 421-7758 or for more information. Some cases currently in need of placement are listed below. Thank you for your consideration.
