Bar’s Government Lawyers Committee Free, 1-Credit CLE: Drones Take Flight! An Overview of FAA Regulations, Enforcement, and Privacy & Security Practices

01/23/2018 - The Rhode Island Bar Association’s Government Lawyers Committee invites all Bar members to participate in a free CLE credit approved presentation (one credit) on Thursday, February 15th, from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at Rhode Island Bar Association headquarters, 41 Sharpe Drive in Cranston. The program, Drones Take Flight! An Overview of FAA Regulations, Enforcement, and Privacy & Security Practices, presented by Kathryn M. Rattigan, Esq. of Robinson & Cole, will help attendees learn how drones can collect valuable data and increase productivity, safety and efficiency across all industries, with specific use examples discussed and case studies provided. The Federal Aviation Administration’s Part 107 regulations, enforcement actions, voluntary best privacy and security practices, and how to comply with these rules and standards, will also be discussed.
